These past two weekends have really been awesome.  I got to attend two very great networking events hosted by Young, Ambitious and Beautiful (YAB). YAB is an organization that supports women of color, and the first event of the year was their 4 year anniversary event called Sister Sip.

There were various speakers, vendors, but more importantly great friends. 🙂

I opted for a simple look for this event.  I wore my high-low all white button up and accessorized it with a statement necklace under the collar.

The second event I attended was last weekend, and it was a vision board party.  The last vision board I made was about five years ago, so I felt like it was time to start a brand new one with even bigger goals and aspirations.  It was so refreshing to have a room full of goal oriented women who are ready to take 2016 on!

Of course at this time in my life, my vision board is mainly focused on fashion, faith, and business.  I listed Solange and RiRi as some of my fashion inspirations, and I even got to add an army fatigued jacket in honor of my grandpa. 🙂
