The winters in Michigan can be really brutal, so you have to be prepared.  I wanted to start my search for a nice coat early because in real life it could snow in October.  One of the main things I was looking for was a really nice peacoat to wear when I’m going out and going to work.  Preferably something that flares out and is very chic and classic.

I really can’t comprehend why coats cost so much.  I started my coat search of course at Macys, but even with my discount I would walk away spending at least $200.  And my budget was only $100, so I tried a few other sites.  I actually lucked up with this beauty from lovelywholesale.com.  I love the V-neck because I can pair it with cute scarves not only to keep warm but to be cute. 🙂  The coat itself is very lightweight and yet still thick enough to insulate heat.  It’s a wholesale website so generally everything is VERY inexpensive.  This coat was only $20, and the shipping charge was $15.  So I ended up spending less than half of what I budgeted.  I love saving money!! 😀

*WARNING* This website does ship from China, so it generally takes 3-4 weeks for your package to arrive.  Also, things made in China tend to run small.  I normally wear a size 12 or XL in my coats, so I ordered a XXL to be on the safe side, and I’m glad I did.  It does fit a little big, but that just means I’ll have room for a sweater underneath.
