This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending a GREAT new event in Detroit called Professional’s Night Out.  This networking event was held in one of the newly remodeled sheds in the  Eastern Market.  I must say I really did enjoy myself!  It’s so refreshing to meet up and network with other Detroiters!  I loved everything about PNO – especially the five course meal. 😛  It was good to meet and converse with new colleagues and a few people I knew from Instagram, but never really had the opportunity to meet in person.  Everyone was so friendly and open, definitely a great night to be from the D. <3

This Boohoo dress has the same structure of my bday dress….so you know I had to cop it. 😉  The skater detail of the bottom of the dress made it flirty and fun, perfect for a summer outdoor networking soirée.  And I loved the bright orange color; it made me feel like I would really stand out.  I had originally planned on wearing a sling back peeptoe pump, but the way my pedicure is NOT setup….so yea lol.  I settled with a nice nude pump to finish off the look and not take the shine away from the dress.
