March Madness!
It’s the week of my 27th birthday, so I planned a Sunday brunch at my favorite restaurant to start the festivities off! I’m a seafood lover, and I LOVE the Detroit Seafood Market! The restaurant itself has such a great aura and vibe. I love going there for dinner, and they even have really great deals for their happy hour. This was my first time going for their Sunday brunch, and everything was great. The buffet brunch had some really great pickings, such as chicken and waffles, omelets made to order, fried catfish and MIMOSAS! 😉 I had such wonderful time, and I can’t wait to go back again! 🙂
I loved my dress. It was fitted so it showcased all my womanly curves (lol). But, it stopped below my knees so it was still very ladylike and brunch appropriate. The silhouette of the top of the dress is really what made me fall in love. It was very “odd”, as Jo would say. It was definitely a conversational piece, which is the exact look I was going for. 😉 I wore my studded pewter pumps to accent it. The dress was very classic, so I wanted to do something more fun and lively with my shoes.
Dress: Boohoo
Pumps: Nine West (similar)
When I first ordered this dress, it only came in grey and black, but now they’ve added other colors. I may have to buy another color just to save for a rainy day! 😀
Xoxo
Since your blog, I’ve ordered several pieces from Boohoo! Thay have some great pieces! I love this dress, looks amazing. Your curves are rocking and you look flawless! Do you wear shapewear with pieces like this?
Thank you! Yes, I’m wearing my spanx; gotta keep it tight 😉
