“They gone love me for my ambition”
I normally don’t go up on a Tuesday, but I made a rare exception for a Mr. Folarin concert. Wale is such a great lyricist, very poet like. I used to listen to his song “Ambitious Girl” every day for motivation (I still don’t know all the words). I had never seen him perform, so I made sure I penciled him into my calendar. The concert was BANANAS! His energy was amazing, and seeing him perform in his ‘Detroit Vs Everybody’ sweatshirt was the icing on the cake. Detroit loves you back Wale. 🙂
Whenever I think of Wale, I get this cool, laid-back but still fresh kind of vibe, and this is the exact feel I wanted from my outfit. My top is definitely an eye catcher; it’s very chic and sophisticated. I decided to wear my favorite faux leather leggings with it to make the look more edgy. I don’t know who created leather leggings, but I owe that person my first born. Leggings, in general, are very plain and basic (to me), but adding leather to the equation takes it to another level. It makes your look relaxed and yet still stylish and fashionable. And I know I don’t care for platform pumps, BUT platform boots are my fav. They allow me more stability with the higher heel.
Top: Boohoo
Leggings: Macys
Boots: Jessica Simpson- DSW (similar)
I just love faux leather! 😉
